πŸ“‘ Signal Scorecard

Every Just Signal report anchors its projections to a timestamped, exchange-verified Day 0 price. This page revisits those signals and grades them against a daily closing snapshot β€” projected vs. actual, in the open. Accountability is the product: a track record you can audit, including the misses.

METHODOLOGY & HONESTY NOTES

Data source: the Ticker Registry. This page reads one file β€” the registry β€” the complete master list of every ticker the library has named, one line each, tiered. There is no per-report scanning and no live price calls on page load: each ticker's current price is a once-a-day closing snapshot stored in the registry (the "Now" columns are headed with that snapshot's date). A scheduled job refreshes the whole registry about once per ticker per day, so the page is instant and the whole site costs roughly one market-data call per ticker per day. Day 0 (start) and the latest close (end) are both stored, so every ticker has a computable return. Nothing is edited after the fact.

One grid, every ticker graded β€” the verdict cascade. Each ticker earns a verdict from the strongest signal it carries, shown in the Basis column. projection: the report published a real % / multiple 1-year target β€” actual return vs. the target pro-rated by elapsed time (a +20% 1Y call is expected to be ~+10% at six months). AHEAD meets or beats it, TRACKING is within 3 points or 35% of it, BEHIND is below. direction: no % target, but the ticker was named under a bullish or bearish trend β€” graded on whether it moved with the call (a bearish call that fell is AHEAD; the Β±3% band is TRACKING). return: a neutral mention with no directional stance β€” graded on raw return (up AHEAD, down BEHIND, flat TRACKING). Projection is the most precise; direction and return are honest performance reads, never fabricated targets.

Filter and sort. Filter to the graded calls (real % projections) for the strictest read, or to any verdict. Click a column header to sort. The KPIs count all tickers; the status line reflects the current filter.

Prices, and delisted tickers. Day 0 (start) and the daily-snapshot close (end) are both stored, so 100% of tickers have a return. Tickers marked bf anchor to the historical exchange close on the report date rather than a live-recorded Finnhub quote. A handful that no longer trade (acquired, taken private) keep their last recorded close, so their return holds steady rather than vanishing.

What's excluded. Relative-basis trends (no public ticker) and retrospective "as-of" reports (their Day 0 is model-recalled, not exchange-verified). Exclusions are counted below the table β€” nothing is silently dropped.

Not investment advice. Just Signal is a futurism instrument. Projections are model hypotheses from a stated Day 0; this page exists to measure them honestly, not to recommend trades.
